What to know before your visit.
Everything here is meant to make your visit easy. If a question isn't answered below, just call — a person will pick up.
Office hours
Office hours include evenings and Saturdays. Evening and Saturday appointments are available for patients who work during the day. Same-day appointments are held for urgent eye problems.
Insurance
Most major insurance plans and Medicare are accepted. Call us with your insurance card handy and we will confirm whether your insurance is accepted.
We do not accept Medicaid.
What to expect at your first visit
- Bring your insurance card, a list of your medications, your current glasses or contact lenses, and any records from a previous eye doctor if you have them.
- Plan for about an hour. A first exam is thorough: vision testing in our 20-foot lane, eye pressure, and usually a dilated look at the retina.
- Your eyes may be dilated. Dilation blurs near vision and makes eyes light-sensitive for a few hours — bring sunglasses, and consider having someone drive you home.
- You will talk with Dr. Lisker herself about what she found, in plain language, with time for your questions.
Our fees philosophy
We believe good eye care should not come with surprise bills. Charges are reasonable and explained before anything is done. If a test or treatment isn't necessary, Dr. Lisker will tell you so — that honesty has kept patients coming back for 30 years.

Dr. Lisker and her staff are fluent in English and Spanish.
